Saturday 10/14/17 starting at 5:30pm Pacific I am proud to have Jaya King back on my Picarto 
stream demonstrating her encaustic wax painting technique. It's an ancient art method of melting bees wax, color pigment and damar resin and applying it to wooden panels. It has seen a resurgence in popularity recently. Jaya has a more modern take on the process that involves blow torches. Yep she plays with fire! When Jaya was on my stream in July I created an OC pony for her Encaustica. Well I finally got a chance to do a quick digital color study of the character today. I did it in Clip Studio Pro and it took about 2hrs to do.
