Competing Charters
Tackless, yet rude.
Yes, I was really told that when we were trying to get our guild formed. Some people . . . . ^.^

It’s…it’s…an update! -gasp!-
On a more serious note, yeah, it’s kinda dumb that some people don’t have faith in guildies. Then again, it’s too hard to form a guild, that with needing 7 other signatures? (it’s been a while since I looked at a guild chart) It should be easier to encourage friends to play together. In fact, three or four signatures should really be enough.
Blog sounds good, also, the comic was pretty funny 😛 Faced people saying that to me too…
Same here… Okay, not really. I made a small guild when I was level 10, kept it for a while, than disbanded. Later, at level 80, I joined a friend’s guild, helped the guildies a lot. Than me and my friend got into an argument and he kicked me out. His loss.
question remains: why are the level 60 and a 70 (I know that gear) approaching lower levels….?
anyway – cute comic and too true – Over the years, I have watched guilds come and go – some can last a long time or break apart – it all depends on the founders to keep it going 🙂
Great Comic
other question for blancs new girlfriend:
Is Blondie an elf girl which can transform into a cat, or a cat which can transform into an elf girl? 🙂
Melzar, for some reson highlvl people with guilds do go after lowbies on my server… just like lowbies with a guild goes after the high ones.
Comic is still funny anyway, waiting for updates and cant wait to see the two guildpushers eat their words. XD
WERES WAR BUNNY!?!?!?!??!!?!?!
Turnover. Unless you’re a highend raiding guild and so have high standards — don’t want to nursemaid people up to your level/gear, just cherrypick the best of who wants to join you — then you want to have up and coming people to teach and train and grow into you.
Or, in casual, family guilds, you simply like to help, and want fresh blood to keep things moving and have more variety of things going on — not to mention, the possibility of new friends.
I recently got my sister to play WoW. She’s playing a rogue, and is doing pretty good. (Still no match for me and my hunter) It’s nice to have her playing with me, and freaking out about my spider pet. She hates spiders. If any new players are reading, I advise you to not fight a hunter before level 20. You’ll loose. =)
As for the guild thing, I’l like to add roleplaying guilds. Blanc and his universe has always struck me as the roleplaying kind, mainly since it’s apparent that they know it’s a game, they’re not written as characters in a real fantasy world.
Don’t you listen to ’em. It’s easy to start and maintain your own little tight-knit guild when you have friends to start it with. c[:
OMG lol i havnt looked here for awhile because of the low update rate but you still keep the quality man.
Yeah guilds are really good when it comes to people you know trust and can work well with that really the basis of a really good guild (whether it be family orientated, casual or even hardcore raiding …. it all comes down to how well you work together.
You don’t even need friends to start a guild. On the server I played on (Frostmane) people would just buy signatures. Normally at 1g a pop or 10g and upwards if they were really desperate. I had a character I kept guildless to continually sign guild charters. =] Fast easy gold & I felt as though I was definitely contributing, as in total I think I’ve helped found about like 30 guilds, give or take. xD
Best of luck with yours!!
Nowadays, -starting- a guild is easy.
It’s keeping the guild together and accomplishing great things together that is the hard part :
*still searching for a Ulduar guild where I’ll fit in. Sigh..*
Cmon wheres the update?
“Cmon wheres the update?”

Seriously, though, work being big brain-fry atm. Hopefully cleared up in the next week. Cross your fingers.
